FestivalsFestivals are a way of celebrating important event and ideals in Buddhism. They give us a chance to explore the truths of Buddhism in a non-conceptual way using ritual and symbolism. Everyone is welcome to join us in these events, just take part to the extent you feel comfortable Parinirvana Day (13 February) Commemorates the death of the Buddha's death. Also a time to recall relatives and friends who have died during the year. Triratna Day (2 April) Commemorates the founding of our Buddhist movement Buddha Day (7 May) A celebration of the Buddha's enlightenment and a chance to reflect on our own spiritual ideals Dharma Day (2 July) A rejoicing in the teachings of the Buddha. Sangha Day (26 November) A celebration of friendship amongst those on the Buddhist path. 7pm to 9.30pm
